Professional Tree Surveys

We offer a range of assessments and inspections to produce a variety of professional tree surveys for domestic and commercial clients. These reports frequently include a Tree Schedule as standard.

BS5837 Tree Reports

We are adept at providing BS5837 reports that meet the requirements of BS5837:2012 – Trees in Relation to Design, Demolition and Construction to support domestic and commercial planning applications.

Tree Inventory Reports

We routinely collate information about how many trees are present on site, what species of tree they are and what condition they are in to generate a full tree inventory for a range of clients.

Roadside Tree Inspections

We offer a comprehensive roadside tree inspection service that satisfies the landowner’s duty of care. The frequency and type of inspection depend upon the location of the trees and the level of risk.

Visual Tree Assessments

We offer Visual Tree Assessments for a wide variety of domestic and commercial clients. The assessment will be presented in a report with noted defects, observations and recommendations.

Arboricultural Method Statements

We are happy to produce an Arboricultural Method Statement which should be used to describe how construction works can be carried out close to trees without causing damage to the crown or root system.

Tree Management Strategies

We produce Tree Management Strategies for a range of clients. These strategies aim to strike a balance between the risks presented and the environmental, social and economic benefits trees provide.

Tree Pests and Diseases

We have considerable experience in the diagnosis of a range of tree pests, diseases and disorders that affect trees in the urban landscape, including fungi, bacteria, invertebrates, viruses and pollution.

VALID and QTRA Tree Assessment

We are one of the few arboricultural consultancies in Scotland that are able to offer both Quantified Tree Risk Assessments (QTRA) and VALID tree risk assessments.

Tree Preservation Orders

We can manage all Tree Preservation Order engagement with Local Planning Authorities and are able to act as agents to submit a formal application to carry out works to protected trees on your behalf.

Invertebrate Surveys

We offer a range of surveys that help determine the quality of a habitat and identify the invertebrates present. These surveys often support planning applications and Biodiversity Net Gain proposals.
