Callophrys Tree Consultancy’s first job of 2025 was a tree survey in the grounds of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Cumbernauld. A very much enjoyable day of surveying, admittedly in sub-zero temperatures, but under the most vibrant azure sky.
The aforementioned site is one of 32 sites I have been asked to survey on behalf of Rainfords Arboriculture, who, in turn, have been awarded a surveying contract by the commercial landscaping company, UK Landscapes Ltd. I’m one of a handful of arboricultural consultants subcontracted by Rainsfords Arboriculture to deliver the project. I am surveying all the sites in Scotland; from Inverness and Elgin in the north to Ayr and Galashiels in the south.
As a tree consultancy service based in Cumbernauld – Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, Dunfermline and the Scottish Borders are all within easy reach of Cumbernauld – Callophrys Tree Consultancy is ideally positioned to act as a Scottish representative in nationwide projects and contracts.
If you need a Scottish-based tree consultant to support a national project or contract, please get in touch with me. Rest assured, my contacts and local knowledge are more robust than those of James Wormold, the eponymous ‘man from Havana’ in Graham Greene’s 1958 novel.
